About Us
What is ESN?
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is a non-profit international student organization dedicated to enriching society through international students. With a strong presence across Europe, ESN operates through a wide network of local sections that support and represent international students at universities.
The organization focuses on improving the experience of students studying abroad by providing support, organizing events, and creating opportunities for cultural exchange. Through its activities, ESN promotes student mobility, fosters intercultural understanding, and encourages active participation in society.
Guided by the principle “Students helping students,” ESN empowers young people to contribute to a more inclusive, open, and connected world.
About ESN Podgorica
ESN Podgorica is a local section of the Erasmus Student Network dedicated to supporting international students and promoting cultural exchange in Montenegro. Established in 2025 and based in Podgorica, we aim to create a welcoming environment for students coming from all over the world.
We help incoming students integrate into both academic and social life by organizing events, trips, workshops, and various social activities. Through our work, we strive to make their stay in Montenegro not only easier, but also more meaningful and memorable.
Our mission is to enrich society through international students, creating strong connections, encouraging cultural exchange, and building unforgettable experiences in the heart of Montenegro.
ESN Podgorica is made up of four dedicated teams, each playing an important role in achieving our goals — you can read more about them below.
Event Team
This team is responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of all events, activities, and trips within ESN Podgorica. From social gatherings to larger projects, the team ensures that every experience is engaging, well-coordinated, and memorable for participants.
Media Team
This team is responsible for creating content for our social media and managing overall communication with our audience. From designing posts to shaping our online presence, they make sure everything we do is visible, engaging, and on point. Often called the most hard-working team, they are always behind the scenes making ESN Podgorica look its best.
Project Team
This team is responsible for developing and writing projects that help ESN Podgorica grow and create new opportunities. They turn ideas into structured proposals, focusing on innovation, partnerships, and long-term impact. Their work often happens behind the scenes and might go unnoticed—but without them, many of our biggest ideas would never become reality.
International Team
This team handles communication with partners, international students, and other ESN sections across the world. They manage emails, maintain relationships, and make sure information flows smoothly across borders.
